The Lamp Room: speculative fiction

I am currently writing my first novel, The Lamp Room, which is a speculative fiction novel based in the real world in Truro, Falmouth and the Isles of Scilly. 

The Lamp Room is a classic good versus evil tale. It tells the story of Narari, an apprentice in ancient Nineveh who inadvertently creates the first genies by tricking demons into granting wishes. He is turned into a genie himself and is released thousands of years later in modern day Cornwall. Narari’s antics draw the attention of Nicola, the Head of Acquisitions, who buys souls for the Devil. Narari struggles to free himself and become human again.
