Originally from Cheshire, (Natalie) Aveline Russell is strongly influenced by the beauty of her adoptive Cornwall. A photographer and fiction author, she writes in a variety of genres from children’s to speculative fiction.
Works include: ‘Benny Gets a Dog’ (shortlisted for the Liskeard Library Short Story Competition 2024).
Aveline studied Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic (language and literature) at University of Cambridge and completed her post-graduate degrees at University of York. She has had a successful career as a researcher and project manager in Local Government.
